These pads are suitable for use on adults and young patients over 8 years old. When correctly positioned on the patient, these pads analyse the ECG rhythm and the defibrillator determines whether a shockable rhythm is present. If the pads find a shockable rhythm, the shock will be delivered.

Replacing your defibrillator pads or having a spare set on hand is essential in an emergency. Pads need replacing after every use and after their expiry date so we recommend keeping a record of your pad's expiry date so they can be replaced before the defibrillator is required again.
