Endocervix Sampling Brush

• The EndoCervex-Brush® can be used in conjunction with conventional cytology and liquid based cytology

• A safety ring decreases the possibility of the brush to enter into the endometrium during the examination, preventing the collection of endometrium cells
• The EndoCervex-Brush® can be used for liquid-based as well as conventional cytology. The capillary system as well as the hydrophobic material facilitates the release of the cell material into the fluid
• With the conventional method, transfer of the cells to the slide can easily be done with a painting action, applying first one side of the bristles and then the other.

The EndoCervex-Brush® is a one piece cytology brush designed to optimize cellular yield in Pap smear specimen collection. The EndoCervex-Brush® provides 600 separate collection “bristles” for the simultaneous collection of cellular material. The Brush features a stiff yet flexible bristle head with a protective tip to enhance the overall collection process. A safety ring just below the bristle head will decrease the possibility of the Brush entering the endometrium during collection. The brush head is detachable after collection.
