The M-531 is an extra wide floor scale with a 250kg capacity, accuracy to 100gand BMI and Body Surface Area (BSA) calculation. If you need a larger than standard floor scale to weigh bariatric patients, the M-531 is an ideal entry level solution. Its extra wide platform makes it a more comfortable scale for larger patients to stand on.

The capacity of the M-531 is 250kg – perfect for weighing most patients. It’s Class III Approved, meaning it's stamped for medical use. The scale can be used to calculate a patient’s BMI, and also has a unique BSA calculation function, which is commonly used for calculating drug dosages.

The M-531 floor scale is powered by batteries (6x AAs - which can provide power for upto 180 hours) so it can be used absolutely anywhere regardless of where the nearest plug socket is. A mains adaptor is also supplied. An optional carry case is available for safely transporting the scale.
